12 Points is a film produced for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, screened by the Austrian state TV network ORF in the contest’s framework programme. The film stars the Austrian comedian Christoph Grissemann in an uncharacteristically serious role and has reached a combined online- and live-viewing audience of over 2 million people.

Synopsis:

Jonas's father expresses his enthusiasm about drag queen Conchita Wurst's victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Hence, his 18-year-old son works up the courage to come out as a homosexual and introduce his boyfriend to his parents ... but unexpectedly, his father's euphoria about the tolerance and open-mindedness displayed at the Song Contest comes to a sudden end.
